Rediscovering the Wisdom of Rock-N-Roll: What is your favorite lyric?

I was doing some odd jobs around the house one Saturday so I popped in the iPods and decided to listen to my old iTunes Rock-N-Roll playlist on shuffle.  The first song was “Freewill” by Rush.  Singing and screaming along, I heard this one lyric and realized it’s profoundness:

If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice” (RUSH. Permanent Waves, Anthem Entertainment,1980)

There is so much wisdom in the songs of these poets we call rock and roll musicians.  I decided to put together some of my favorite lyrics that I feel have a profound message.

So, here are some of my favorite lyrics in which I find a special meaning – as well as a peek into the playlist of my favorite music! Please add your choices to this list of rock and roll wisdom:
