Why “Health Leader Lab”?

We have so much to learn from each other!

In healthcare leadership, it is the constant exchange of ideas, working in teams with a diversity of expertise, and being open to trying different approaches that allows us to accomplish some of our greatest work. So I wanted to create a forum through which these ideas could be shared for the benefit of all who join me in the “Lab”!

According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, a broad definition of the word laboratory is: “a place providing opportunity for experimentation, observation, or practice in a field of study”.

My first “experiment” will be setting up this blog and I am not finding it as easy as everyone seems to say it is! But what I am really looking forward to is the ability to join with fellow healthcare leaders and share leadership ideas here in the Health Leader Lab!
